ABot was demonstrated in “Open Networking and Edge Virtual Summit of Linux Foundation” from September 28-30, 2020

Brief – ABot was demonstrated for end-to-end 5G testing in a cloud-native environment

ABot was demonstrated against 5G SUTs in the Booth: “Onboarding 5G CNFs with ONAP” in the LFN & LF Edge Demo Pavilion of “Open Networking and Edge Virtual Summit of Linux Foundation” from September 28-30, 2020.

The demo was on ABot gNB and UE simulator validating end to end call flows through 5GC elements from Altran using Kaloom switch and Aarna Networks’ multi-cluster orchestration platform. Here ABot was used as a UE simulator and for analysis of the test execution using ML. The solution was running on Kubernetes based infrastructure in a lab in Montreal and in University of New Hampshire’s InterOperability Lab. Both the labs were connected via public cloud.

This 5G Cloud Native Network PoC was also nominated as a Finalist for the Leading Lights Awards in the “Most Innovative 5G Strategy” category, as well.
