J2EE based Mobile Application extension of a broadband site to enable browsing and play Audio content

Project Overview: Development of J2EE based feature rich application extension of a broad band site that provides a wide range of music content to end-users.

• Features:
  • Authentication : Sends the user data to verify the user credential on the server
  • Periodically imports music content and metadata from the broadband site; which acts as the content aggregator.
  • Enables extensive browsing of music content; based on featured artists, featured albums and featured songs.
  • Enables purchasing of content either through mobile account or credit-card account.
  • Provides list of musical events in different locations covered by the mobile service provider.
  • UI is compatible with any WAP 2.0/XHTML capable mobile browser.
  • Sample Devices supported: iTouch, Nokia N70, Blackberry Bold, standard cell phone models.
