It has the capability to collect data of various types of transaction from different network elements, perform processing on the data such as validation, filtration, and segregation and deliver the processed data to various end applications. It serves as an alternative storage for the data from downstream applications point of view, for a specified duration, so that if required, the application can fetch data from the system using a predefined protocol.
