Service Provisioning Controller

Service Provisioning provides the activation of services across multi-vendor, heterogeneous networks. The system collects activation requests received from various downstream applications. Subsequently the system distributes requests simultaneously to the target network elements, executes the requests, and gathers all the responses generated and send them back to issuing applications.

Features Implemented

  • Activation Requests from End Applications - The system receives requests from end applications either in files or through APIs.

  • Service Request Configuration - The system allows the user to create service with either single network element or multiple network elements as required.

  • Translation of Generic request to MML command - The system converts the generic request received from end application to the corresponding network element specific MML command.

  • Communication With Network Element (NE) - The system sends MML command to the network element as per network element specific protocol and captures the corresponding response from the same.

  • Responses to End Applications - The system pushes the response files to the corresponding end applications that have generated the request files.

  • General Administration - The system has the capability to add and delete network element in its configuration details dynamically.

  • Audit Trail - The system stores the requests along with corresponding responses in the database.

  • Alarm - The system generates alarm in case of link failure with the network element
