Getting started with us!
Getting started with Rebaca is easy. This page provides you information
you'll need to know about our basic engagement process.
Initially, you many start by requesting a
free project
scoping report.
to categorize broadly, there are a standard set of processes that a customer
passes through its initial level of engagement with us. By understanding
your requirement in-depth and analyzing the scope, technology requirement
and time duration, we are
able to deliver rapidly and meet your expectations. Here’s what you can
expect when you engage with us:
- Initial Project Scoping/Analysis (1 day) - In this phase, we scope out the project and
understand your needs. We mutually determine whether there is a “fit” to
proceed. If there is, then Rebaca will assign a technical champion and
a business champion, and you will assign both a business and a technical
contact from your company. A mutual NDA will be signed.
- Requirements Analysis (2 days) - Through a meeting or conference call, all
stakeholders will discuss the project in order to determine specific
requirements. We will assess work-to-date, priorities, technologies,
timelines and budgets. Based on the information we gather, we will affirm
our understanding of the project, suggest some options, and determine
whether you are ready to receive a proposal.
- Submit Proposal (1 week) - Our business and technical leads will develop a
detailed proposal, covering the requirements, priorities, technical
solutions, a schedule, assumptions, deliverables and cost. We will present
this proposal in person or during a conference call, leaving ample time
for questions and discussion. If refinements are required, we will make
these and resubmit the proposal.
- Business agreements/contracts (2-3 days) - Once the proposal is accepted, we will
prepare a services agreement and establish milestones, success metrics and
acceptance criteria.
- Project kickoff - The project will begin with a kickoff meeting, in which
we establish a communication plan (points of contact and status meetings),
coordinate technical requirements and knowledge exchange, verify the
schedule, review the project priorities and vision, and set a date for the
first milestone.
- Constant interaction - You will receive ongoing status reports and
updates throughout the project from your project manager. Milestones and
deadlines will be carefully monitored and you’ll know ahead of time if
there are problems – and exactly what we’re doing to address them.
