Silicon Verification
Today’s VLSIs are complex in design and requires extensive verification
testing before tape out and after tape out. The verification testing before
tape out is known as Pre-Silicon verification and verification of the VLSI
after tape, i.e verification of actual Silicon on a reference platform is
known as Post Silicon Verification.

Rebaca has been involved with Post Silicon verification activity from the
day of its inception. The objective of the post silicon verification is to
- Perform standalone functional testing of each and every building blocks of
the VLSI
- Execution of Corner case tests
- Testing & debugging of
Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) APIs and Device Drivers
- Compliance
testing as IEEE / Bell Core / ITU-T/ Telcordia standards, and
- Automation testing of entire Post Silicon Verification
As a part of the Silicon Verification, Rebaca has been involved in
development of automation framework for the automation testing of VLSIs
(Post silicon), Bring-up board development and production testing, System
level testing of a complete product.
