Rebaca has been involved in testing the automated Installation software for residential DSL modems. The installation software includes ActiveX Controls to validate the configuration and setup of the home computer, the modem and its connectivity to the network via telephone jack. Besides testing the operation of the software, this also involved testing of the APIs that were exposed by the ActiveX Control using multiple scripting languages and Win32 Libraries.

• Creation of the Unit Test Plan and Test Cases based on the API documentation
• Development of the Test Scripts for the White Box testing of the ActiveX APIs
• Development of the Validation logic using Windows APIs and Script Host Controls
• Bug Reporting, Tracking and generating Test Reports
• Preparation of Product Readiness Report
