Rebaca was part of a team that developed a Component Management System(CMS) for Residential Broadband(RBB) Gateways and Settop boxes(STBs). This is a server-side component that is available to operators of Broadband Service providers(BSPs). It enables operators to perform a wide variety of provisioning and management functions such as user setup, connectivity management and access management. Additionally, the CMS also interfaces with third-party content providers to deliver a rich array of content to end-users; in the form of movies, music and photos.

Scope:

• Development of catalog receiver component to receive movie catalogs from the contracted movie provider on a daily basis.
• Development of catalog creator component to parse the received movie catalogs and convert them into a common format for customer devices(CPEs).
• Development of web services for provisioning CPEs with different access criteria
